What is considered a national move?
A national move refers to the transfer of goods and belongings from one place to another within the same country, but beyond local or metropolitan distances. Metrecubic offers the service in all the Peninsula, Balearic and Canary Islands. Generally, this involves crossing city or Autonomous Community boundaries, covering longer distances than local removals. This type of move requires somewhat more complex planning, due to the logistics of transporting items over longer distances.
How much does a national move cost?
From €42 + VAT / hour and two hours minimum quote. Includes 10 m3 van, one operator/driver and protection material (blankets, film and wrapping). The price of moving can vary depending on several factors, such as the distance, the number of belongings or merchandise, if it involves disassembly/assembly of furniture and access to the place of loading and unloading. Is insurance included in a national move, and what kind of damages does it cover?
As an extension of the company’s basic Civil Liability coverage, a civil liability policy is included (imputed to the Insured party) for damages suffered by the property of third parties during handling, including removals, up to a maximum amount. If necessary, you can have a tailor-made moving insurance that can provide you with specific and personalised coverage according to your needs and the value of your belongings. This includes an initial assessment, selection and customisation of coverages, and a clear claims process.
Do you offer additional services such as packaging or storage?
We offer additional services such as professional packaging and temporary or long-term storage options. These services can be useful to simplify your move and adapt to your specific needs.
How are fragile or especially valuable items handled during the move?
Our company takes extra precautions when handling fragile objects. We use high-quality packaging materials and specific techniques to ensure that your most delicate items are transported safely and securely. Reporting the existence of these items in advance is crucial to bring the appropriate packaging material.
What is the cancellation or rescheduling policy?
