What are considered local moves?
Local moves are generally considered to be those that occur within the same city or metropolitan area, often defined by a specific maximum distance, such as 50 or 100 kilometres from origin to destination. Basically removals throughout Catalonia: Barcelona, Sabadell, Terrassa, Manresa, Vic, Girona, Figueres, Roses, Blanes, Lloret and other locations. These moves are usually completed in one day, depending on the volume of belongings and the distance between locations. This type of service is designed to facilitate a fast and efficient move within a limited geographical area.
How much does a local move cost?
From €42 + VAT / hour and two hours minimum quote. Includes 10 m3 van, one operator/driver and protection material (blankets, film and wrapping). The price of local moves can vary depending on several factors such as distance, quantity and type of items to be moved. Is insurance included in a local move, and what kind of damages does it cover?
As an extension of the company’s basic Civil Liability coverage, a civil liability policy is included (imputed to the Insured) for damages suffered by the property of third parties during handling, including removals, up to a maximum amount. If necessary, you can have a tailor-made moving insurance that can provide you with specific and personalised coverage according to your needs and the value of your belongings. They include an initial assessment, selection and customization of coverages, and a clear claims process.
